So, we are we?

Marva is a legal consultancy with various lawyers working together to give businesses and private persons total legal advice and back-up in how to solve their problems. The consultancy has its offices in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and is active in and outside the Islands, in the whole of Spain. The firm was set up by myself María Alonso.

And who am I?

I read Law at the University of Salamanca. Fifteen years ago, I came to live in Tenerife where I continued my studies with the General Council of Spanish Lawyers (Consejo General de la Abogacía) in Legal Practice and Techniques between 2010-2012 and was thus motivated to set up my own professional practice.

These fifteen years of practice have taught me that even the most deeply rooted conflict can be solved if there is sensible and sensitive negotiation, that satisfactory agreements can be reached without legal costs and the uncertainties that trials present.

That is why I continued my studies, training as a mediator in the Chamber of Commerce in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in pursuit of ever better service to my clients for them, ordinary citizens and businesses alike, to resolve their conflicts, be they civil or merchant. I went on even further to train as a mediator in family conflicts and now am on the Register of Mediators and Mediating Institutions of the Ministry of Justice as well as collaborating in the ICATF Mediation Centre.

I also trained at the Canary Institute of Coaching in Las Palmas de GC (Pure Strategic Coaching) with a view to improving my skills and in order to work constructively toward giving the best quality service to my clients.

Collaboration

We work with a series of collaborators both here and on the mainland of Spain in order to give the most complete overall service to our clients.

As of three years back, our collaborators here in Tenerife are the legal firm Galán de Mora Abogados.
